Ed.D. Program Communications

May 2022 - October 2023

Graphic Design Student Assitant

The Sacramento State Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) Program prepares transformative leaders in education with a focus on equity, policy, and organizational change.

As a Communications Student Assistant, I supported the program’s brand identity and outreach through a variety of design and marketing initiatives.

Context

  • The Ed.D. Program at Sac State emphasizes leadership, equity, and policy in higher education and K–12 settings. Communications initiatives within the program focus on strengthening brand recognition, fostering community pride, and attracting future educational leaders. Projects span print, digital, and event materials that represent the program’s mission and values while building a strong presence across platforms.

  • The goal was to enhance the company’s brand consistency and improve its client-facing experience through a set of visually engaging materials. I developed a series of print and digital designs that clarified CTS’s value proposition, supported their service offerings, and made the company’s communication efforts more approachable and trustworthy. These deliverables were tailored to align with both the agency’s internal culture and the expectations of its diverse client base.

  • As Communications Student Assistant, I led multiple design and marketing efforts that showcased the program’s identity. I redesigned the program brochure to better reflect its mission, created a cohesive SWAG campaign for students and alumni, and developed outreach materials such as postcards, pop-up banners, and social media ads. My role required close attention to brand consistency, collaboration with faculty and staff, and project management across multiple campaigns.
